Safety & Security

At Bessborough centre crèche we recognise security as a very important issue. Staff are aware of safety and security policies in place. We have an electric intercom system along with camera’s that view all access points and all the rooms in the crèche. Parents are issues with a fob which enables access via a pin code.

Children will only be released into the care of the designated people who are listed on the collection sheets. Play areas in both centres are completely safe and secure.

Fire drills are carried out every 4 weeks and we have all our Fire Certificates in Place.

We have a Health and Safety Policy in place with regard to incidents or accidents which might occur at the centre. We are also accountable to the South Eastern Health Board who ensures that we have all policies with regard to Safety and Security in place.

We want our parent to know that all measures are put in place to protect the children in our care which is of paramount importance to us.

Please can parents be diligent and ensure that all doors are closed after them.
